Event Details
Join us at the Spring Hill Library for an hour of puppy love. Having a dog in your life is reported to help numerous health issues such as anxiety, depression, social skills, and simply improving the mood of an individual. Just the act of petting an animal promotes the release of hormones serotonin, prolactin, and oxytocin, which elevate moods. This program is for older adults, however all adults are welcome. Space is limited. Registration required.
Caring K9s Inc. is a Florida nonprofit volunteer-based organization of dedicated therapy dog handlers and their dogs on a mission of sharing Kindness, Comfort and Love.
