Event Details
Hernando County Utilities Water Conservation presents Florida-Friendly Landscaping. Topics include Right Plant-Right Place, Water Efficiently, Fertilize Appropriately, Mulch, Attract Wildlife, Control Pests Responsibly, Recycle, Control Stormwater Runoff and Protect the Waterfront. Lilly Browning will lead the one-hour class. This month's topic is "Saving Water (and Money) in the Landscape". Lilly will go over ways to care for your lawn, landscape and wallet in the most water-efficient and cost-efficient ways.
Lilly has been the FFL Program Coordinator since 2014. She has resided in Hernando County since 1978. Her education is in horticulture and environmental studies. She works to help residents learn environmentally responsible ways to enjoy their Florida yards.
