Celebrate Women's History Month with a discussion of chapter 7, "Up and Then Down, 1921-1940," from the book They Dared to Dream: Florida Women who Shaped History by Doris Weatherford. The Roaring Twenties roared in Florida--the greatest social change of all time for women around the globe. Then Florida plunged into the Great Depression, sooner than other states, but women continued to organize for their communities. For adults. Space is limited. Registration required.
