Program Description

Event Details

Growing up in Brooklyn as Katya, a young secretary aspires to an all-American inclusion in 1930s Manhattan, so she restyles herself as Katey.  A chance encounter in a jazz bar propels her toward the smart set of high society where she experiences the security of the wealthy and well connected, but also the envy and disloyalty that lie just below the surface. Part love story, part social observation. Contact us via the email address provided for a copy of the book and the discussion questions. For adults. Space is limited. Registration required.
